Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share with you two amazing Italian chicken recipes that are sure to be a hit in your house. These recipes are so easy to make and so delicious, your family will be begging for more.
Italian Chicken Recipe 1:
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/4 cup of fresh oregano
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add in diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Cook for around 4 minutes until the onion is soft and the pepper is starting to brown.
- Add in the can of diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup of chicken broth, fresh oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
- Add in 4 bone-in chicken thighs, and be sure to coat them in the sauce.
- Now cover the skillet with a lid, and transfer it to the oven. Bake for around 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite sides, like pasta or bread.
Spicy Chicken Sausage Pasta Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of cooked pasta (like penne or fusilli)
- 1 pound of Premio Italian Sausage
- 2 cups of diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup of basil, chopped
- 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Cook 1 pound of pasta until al dente according to the instructions on the package.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add Premio Italian Sausage to the skillet to cook.
- When the sausage is cooked to a temperature of 165°F, remove it from the skillet onto a plate, and set it aside.
- Add in minced garlic, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to the same skillet and stir it together.
- Now add in the cooked pasta and cooked sausage to the skillet and toss it all together.
- Top with chopped fresh basil.
