  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. Add the vodka to the skillet and let it simmer for a few minutes until the liquid has reduced by half.
  5. Add in the tomato sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for an additional 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. While the sauce is simmering, add the cooked pasta to a large pot and set the heat to low. Add the cooked shrimp and any juices from the skillet to the pot and stir gently to combine. Allow it to warm through.
  7. Add heavy cream to the skillet and cook over low heat for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened and the flavors are well combined.
  8. Add the parsley to the skillet and stir it in.
  9. Arrange the pasta and shrimp in bowls and pour the sauce over them. Top with grated parmesan cheese and serve.
