Ingredients:

  • 1 pound jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package until they're al dente. Drain and set them aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Once the beef is fully cooked, drain any excess fat and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the mushrooms and garlic until they're soft and fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and garlic, and stir them for around 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gradually stir in the milk, beef broth, onion powder, and garlic powder, until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and browned meat to the skillet, and toss it well with the sauce.
